Classroom training with hands-on practice in thermal imaging.

No prerequisites are needed to attend the Level 1 class.

Concentrates on the core issues that a thermographer needs to understand in order to confidently put one’s infrared imaging camera and software to work. Whether you are researching an IR System or already invested in one, this class will benefit you.

This class will include in-depth review of critical variables, such as: emissivity, transmissivity, reflectivity, conduction, convection, and radiation. There will be in-depth practical application labs on specifics of infrared camera operations so you know how to use your camera without fumbling around in the field. There will be a session on Tips & Tricks to improve the specific applications for electrical, mechanical & building thermography. Also, there will be 1 day of actual scanning and reporting of electrical, mechanical, & building applications.

ASNT has granted 3.4 continuing education units for our thermal imaging training classes.

Class will begin at 8:00 am and go until 5 pm each day with an hour break for lunch. The class will be held at the Holiday Inn Express, 1702 Main Street, Pearland, TX. If you need accommodations, HIE offers a discounted room rate for our students.
